1) First tip on pregnancy is to
periodically visit your doctor. Always give information about any
problem which arised after the previous meeting with the doctor. Do
not hide anything from the doctor.
2) Immediately visit doctor for advice if there is excessive
bleeding, constant back pain, pain during urinating, etc.
3) Do not consume alcohol. Avoid smoking, starchy food, chicken,
etc.
4) Do not lift heavy objects. Avoid hard work.
5) During night sleep for at least eight hours. During day sleep for
two hours.
6) Avoid food which will lead to increase in weight.
7) Drink lots of water.
8) Eat pulses, leafy vegetables and lots of fruit. Instead of eating
all at time, eat small meals many times a day.
9) Stop work if you feel tired and rest for sometime.
10) Exercise regularly. But here too, follow the principle of
stopping work as soon as you get tired.
11) Sleep straight and on your side. Feet should be placed at some
height.
12) Wear comfortable clothes.
13) Wear bras of right size.
14) Do not wear high heal shoes or footwear.
15) Avoid physical relationship with your partner four weeks before
delivery.
16) Do not take medicines unnecessarily.
17) After four months, do not ride a cycle or sit on a horse back.
18) Avoid X-rays.
19) Thoroughly clean your body when bathing. Bathe in a tub. Be
alert so that you do not slip.
20) Stay away from contagious diseases.
21) Sit straight.
22) Be happy.
23) Do not worry if you sweat a lot.
24) Brush your teeth every morning and evening.
25) Remove your contact lens during delivery.
26) Avoid long journeys. If this is unavoidable then after every two
hours stand for
sometime. If possible walk some distance. |
